Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin was a Post-Impressionist painter along with Paul Cézanne. While Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin was a stockbroker, he went to art school and collected Impressionistic paintings. When he was 35, he decided to become a professional painter.
The works by Paul Gauguin were different from true abstract arts, but they were painted with memory and imagination. Paul Gauguin did away with redundancy and tried to capture the essence of a subject.
