Robert Delaunay was born into a wealthy family in Paris. He received impulses from impressionism, Gauguin, neo-impressionism, fauvism. When he was young, he sought a new direction. Paul Cezanne was highly-influential. Robert Delaunay learned many things through the study of Paul Cezanne.
