Kazimir Malevich was born near Kiev. In 1904, he moved to Moscow. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting. (He did not study art in european art school.) He was influenced by impressionism and symbolism and art nouveau and Paul Cezanne. At first, he drew works on the subject of farmer.
